We are a family-owned and operated company founded by two brothers, Jason and Christopher Colborne, with deep roots in the beautiful Cape Town, Western Cape. Our journey into the energy sector began with a shared vision to make a positive impact on our community and beyond. Blending Jason’s expertise as a Mechatronic Technician with Christopher’s skilled Craftsmanship in Carpentry and Mechanics, we set out to harness the boundless potential of solar and backup energy solutions.

Our Story

Growing up as outdoor and adventure enthusiasts, we witnessed the natural beauty of the Western Cape, but we also recognized the importance of preserving it for future generations. That realization ignited our passion for renewable energy. We saw an opportunity to merge our technical knowledge and hands-on skills to create a sustainable and eco-friendly energy alternative. Thus, Photon Solar Solutions was born.
